Peek at our Week September 26-30

We had a great first week of studying community helpers.  Through dramatic play, matching games, discussion, and books, we were able to get a better idea of the types of community helpers we have in our town.  We will finish up our study next week! Check out the pictures below to see what we've been up to.

We all enjoyed our brand new sight word game "BOOM!"

Our art study focused on drawing with perspective.

Pumpkins closer up should be larger than pumpkins on a hill far away.

We first practiced drawing on whiteboards and then on paper with pencils.  We traced our pencil lines with black marker before coloring.

During Read to Self time, students love reading the big books with pretend audiences.

We built our sight words with connecting cubes! ONE
